Ocala, Florida, April 17, 2007 Elster AMCO Water Announces Marketing Group Promotion

Elster AMCO Water, Inc., part of Elster Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of highly accurate, high quality, integrated metering and utilization solutions, announces the promotion of Mark Patience to product marketing manager of the North American marketing group. He will specialize in bulk meters and electronic registers with a focus on managing the lifecycle of all commercial and industrial meters for the North American markets of the water utility business.

This promotion is one in a series of appointments within the marketing and sales division of Elster AMCO Water as the company expands to meet the needs of its valued customers.

“The product marketing manager is paramount to providing needs assessment and tailored solutions to our customers and has gained increasing emphasis within the sales and marketing division,” explained Thomas Butler, director of marketing for Elster AMCO Water. “Mark will manage the development and lifecycle of our commercial and industrial water utility metering products; a role that is vital to the interest of our company,” added Butler.

“For the past five years, I have been working for Elster AMCO Water and bring to my new position a thorough understanding of our products, solutions and most significantly, our water utility customers,” said Patience. “I am very excited to be part of a world class marketing and sales division and a company that is a leader in advanced water metering products and meter reading solutions.”

A former Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps, Patience holds an MBA from Saint Leo University and a BS in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University.
