Luxembourg, February 26, 2007 New Top Team at Elster 'Rest of World' Water Global and Electricity Unit

Luxembourg, 26 February 2007. Elster Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of highly accurate, high quality, integrated metering and utilisation solutions, announces senior management changes and the creation of a new Business Unit, Water Global and Electricity Rest of World (RoW)

Jerry Lauzze is appointed Executive Vice President Water Global/Electricity RoW. Jerry joined Elster as Vice President Sales and Marketing at American Meter Company in 1999 after holding senior positions at DMS Dresser and Halliburton Inc. He was appointed President and CEO of American Meter Company in 2002. For the last year Jerry has been Executive Vice President, Elster Asia.

Blake Snider is appointed Senior Vice President Water Global reporting to Jerry Lauzze. He is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the global water business. Previously Blake was President of Elster AMCO Water, Inc. An accomplished corporate executive with significant global manufacturing and leadership experience in the water metering industry, Blake brings a strong background in engineering technology and lean manufacturing to the Elster Group.

James Gardiner, currently Vice President Operational Effectiveness at Elster Group, is appointed President of Elster AMCO Water, Inc. reporting to Blake. Prior to joining Elster, James was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton for 12 years, working primarily on supply chain and strategy projects for major international corporations.

Jerry was appointed as Executive Vice President Water Global/Electricity RoW in February 2007, a new role created at that time. He reports to Howard Dyer.

Jerry joined Elster as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at American Meter Company in 1999 after holding senior positions at DMS Dresser and Halliburton
Inc. He was appointed President and CEO of American Meter Company in 2002.

For the last year Jerry has been Executive Vice President, Elster Asia

Blake Snider
Senior Vice President, Water Global
Blake was appointed to this new role in February 2007, reporting to Jerry Lauzze, and is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the global water business. Previously Blake was President of Elster AMCO Water, Inc.

An accomplished corporate executive with significant global manufacturing and leadership experience in the water metering industry, Blake brings a strong background in engineering technology and lean manufacturing to the Elster Group. Blake holds an MBA from Texas A&M University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University.

James Gardiner
President, Elster AMCO Water, Inc.
James was appointed to this new role in February 2007 and he reports to Blake Snider.

Previously James was Vice President Operational Effectiveness, responsible for supporting strategic and operational improvement projects. Prior to joining Elster, James was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton for 12 years, working primarily on supply chain and strategy projects for major international corporations.
