Elster Kromschröder – A New Name and New Products
Osnabrück
From this month, G. Kromschröder AG in Lotte near Osnabrück will be offering its
products and services to its customers under the new name of Elster Kromschröder GmbH.
Kromschröder is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Elster Group, the world’s leading
manufacturer and supplier of highly accurate, high quality, integrated metering and
utilisation solutions to the gas, electricity and water industries. Although part
of one global company, the renowned Kromschröder name will remain, a name which has
stood for tradition, customer satisfaction and quality products for many years.
In
addition to the new trading name Elster Kromschröder announced the following series
of new initiatives and products aimed at enhancing customer service and benefits.
www.docuthek.com
Elster
Kromschröder GmbH is offering customers and interested parties another service: it
has set up a document library – called Docuthek – on the Internet. This contains over
1000 documents such as technical brochures, operating instructions and advertising
brochures, all ready for downloading.
Whether at the workstation during application
design and project work, or during the commissioning of systems, up-to-date documents
are a necessary precondition for successful working. With this in mind, Elster Kromschröder
is making its entire product documentation available within the Docuthek. The service
can be accessed at the address www.docuthek.com or via the Elster Kromschröder website
at www.kromschroeder.de.
It is possible to navigate through the individual product groups by means of a browser.
The documents are structured in an easy to locate system and assigned to the various
products.
Trouble-free use of solar energy thanks
to the SD3 by Elster Kromschröder
New variable speed differential controller ensures
control of solar systems:
Many environmentally-aware house owners
are familiar with the problem: the solar system is installed on the roof and the sun
is shining, but the new system is not delivering the output promised. To be able to
confront this effectively, Elster Kromschröder GmbH has developed differential controller
SD3. With the new SD3, the user is supplied with an intelligent control unit incorporating
modern digital technology, specially designed for regulating solar systems. Three
sensors are used to allow for the creation of two differential temperatures between
the buffer storage and the heat generator, be this a solar system or solid fuel boiler.
This makes it possible for up to two circulation pumps to be activated at the same
time. The unit is automatically configured via the connected sensors. This is achieved
with the selection of one of 12 system diagrams preset in the memory, which then automatically
proceeds to set the basic parameters. The solar yield produced is quite simple to
identify from the pulse counter input for measuring flow volumes.
Reduce
costs by modular boiler construction, varicom from Elster Kromschröder satisfies a
wide range of requirements:
Elster Kromschröder has developed the
varicom modular system to react to increasing demands, while at the same time saving
costs. The module for gas or oil heating equipment, which consists of a control module
and a safety module, enables manufacturers to react quickly to the needs of the market.
varicom
allows various control modules to be combined with different safety modules that are
tailored precisely to the burner to suit different heating devices and markets. Both
units can be connected using standardised eBUS communication.
Flexible, compact and with a high performance – valVario®, Elster
Kromschröder GmbH presents its improved series of gas fittings:
As
a result of its continuous technical development work, Elster Kromschröder is presenting
its series of gas controls - valVario® on this year’s ISH. The company is thus unveiling
the successor to its existing, proven VG and Moduline ranges. valVario® will see Elster
Kromschröder strengthen and build on its reputation as an efficient manufacturer and
supplier of customer-oriented components and systems. The company has a strong sales
network throughout the world, which enables it to provide fast individual, service-oriented
advice locally.
The main focus for the development of valVario® were customer
requirements. For example the series stands out above all others due to its slim,
modular design and great flexibility. The modular element system makes this possible.
In addition to the usual Elster Kromschröder quality, valVario® not only constitutes
an improved solution for industrial gas firing systems but provides attractive value
for money.
valVario® in XL format, Elster Kromschröder extends its
time-tested solenoid valve series:
Elster Kromschröder has unveiled
its product innovation for higher pressure ratings and flow rates using the successful
valVario trademark. This means that the powerful valVario technology can now be used
in almost every field of safety, control and regulation for the combustion of natural
gas, LPG and biologically produced methane.
Besides the DN 10 – 50 model which
has been in production since 2005, the valVario series now comprises nominal sizes
DN 65, 80, 100 and 125. Like the existing reliable valVario models, they are designed
using a modular element system and based on a consistently clear concept. This means
that Elster Kromschröder has not only reduced the number of individual components
but also both volume and weight, in some cases by up to one-third. In turn this means
greater flexibility in production and use. Industrial, commercial and heating supply
customers can now benefit from the more compact design and also from the fact that
the devices offer even better value for money. In fact the entire new valVario range
not only offers improved functionality and better performance data, but also enables
the use of an energy-saving electronic system as an option.
Powerful valVario®
technology can now be used in almost every field of safety, control and regulation
for the combustion of natural gas, LPG and biologically produced methane. This was
the good news to all users of high capacity process heat and heating heat announced
by Elster Kromschröder in spring 2007. The new DN 65, 80, 100 and 125 models of the
solenoid valve series have now been designed for higher pressure ratings and flow
rates.
Elster Kromschröder can now provide its industrial, commercial and
heating supply customers with better value for money in the form of the extended valVario
solenoid valve series. All valVario models are designed on the modular system principle
and are based on a consistently clear concept. This not only means a reduction in
the individual components but also reduces both volume and weight, in some cases by
up to one-third. With global prices for raw materials and energy prices continuing
to soar, components and system solutions that save resources are surely the best answer
to the increasing pressure on costs. Lower shipment costs are yet another aspect of
this.
